School Assemblies and Collective Worship
Collective meetings are held each day in school. These may take the form of a religious (Collective Worship) or moral theme (Assembly) and also a celebration of the children’s work and achievements. Our collective meeting timetable ensures that there is a balance between spiritual, moral, social and cultural teachings.
Children are very excited when we hold our fortnightly team assembly meetings where children from across all areas of the school meet to learn songs, plan events and experience the richness of belonging to a team.
We also invite visitors to take assemblies so that they become more varied for our children.
Our school has no affiliation to any particular denomination. Parents have the right to withdraw their children from religious education lessons, collective worship and assemblies. If you wish to do so then please discuss your thoughts with the Principal.
