Have you seen the state of our outdoor quad area next to the lower hall? It’s awful! The old rubber play surface is in need of replacing and the walls and woodwork are in desperate need of a lick of paint.

For many months, I have dreamed that this area could be used by Year One children during lesson time and by other children across the school as a shared outdoor reading area. Imagine my delight when RAFT said they’d come to the rescue!

On Saturday 27th October, the RAFT Quad project will begin! A skip will be ordered and parents will be on site to dig out and remove the old rubber surfacing, install astro-turf (Thomas’ mum is trying to arrange for this to be donated to school) and paint the walls. How amazing!
