My face hurt from smiling yesterday morning as I welcomed children onto the playground. Instead of Roseberry uniforms, I was met with an array of characters from a wide range of books. The time and effort spent creating and sourcing children’s costumes was well worth it – the children looked amazing and were clearly proud of parents’ efforts! As I walked around school throughout the day, there was a real buzz of excitement but, amazingly, children were still able to concentrate upon their learning. How good is that?!
