This week the children have enjoyed culture week, where Year 6 have learnt about Buddhism and then focused on Asia.
At the beginning of the week, the children learnt about the Buddhism four noble truths and we read the Willow Pattern story, which gave them inspiration for their watercolour plate designs. The have also created their own mandala designs, which look vibrant and bold on the board. We finished the week off by focusing on Asia, where the children have researched animals and learnt to write in Chinese. The work they have produced is superb and they should all be very proud of themselves.
