Today was a brilliant end to a great half term. The children performed their Harvest songs beautifully and our readers were very brave, facing so many adults! There was standing room only in the hall and it was lovely to see so many members of our Roseberry family coming together to celebrate and be thankful. A huge well done and congratulations to Mrs Barker's children. It was their first experience of performing for an audience and they were extremely brave. It's hard to believe that they have only been in school since September!
The display of food and flowers donated was humbling to see (the flowers were in the entrance hall, ready to be delivered!) and I was amazed at the generosity shown - I know that many people will be delighted to receive the food and flowers our school family has donated. Thanks to Mrs Dawson for arranging flower deliveries and to the volunteers and Y6 children who helped her today. What a super way to start the holiday!
