As part of our class text, Wisdom and Wonder’, we concentrated our learning around a short tale called, The blind man and the hunter’. We talked about our senses and discussed the importance of these when we guided our peers (who were blindfolded) around obstacle courses.

We then looked at a poem, ’The Sound Collector’ by Roger McGough. Using this for inspiration, we wrote our own class version - based upon the story of the blind man, which is set in an African jungle.
