4649 miles away in St Joseph's Infant School in Kingston, Jamaica, an English Tea Party was being held to celebrate part of their cultures week. This is the very school where Mrs Clarke and Mrs Edwards came to visit Roseberry and myself and Mrs Channing made a return visit a few months later.
Each year, St Joseph's hold an English tea party and we try to skype with them to help them celebrate. Today, they skyped with our class and it was superb. The children had gone to such great lengths to dress up and the staff had turned their whole school into an English dinner setting with cakes, biscuits and tea. See below for some of the photos of the call.
