Good morning everybody, we've made it to the end of this strange week! It was lovely to speak to some of you yesterday and good to hear about the lovely things you have been doing, including turning your back gardens into golf courses!
Here are some suggested activities that you might like to try today:
Maths - Year 3's Rounding to 10 and 100 Year 4's - Rounding and estimating to 10,100 and 1000 Times table rockstars - Keep Battling!
Literacy - If you haven't already, you could have a go at writing a verse from the poem on yesterdays blog. Thank you to those children who have already contributed. The verses certainly made me smile! This is our poem so far, the challenge is to make it ryhme! Try rhymezome.com for suggestions.
When the time reaches 9 I go online,
to sign in with Joe then away I go .
I work out ????????
And listen to the shout outs.
This week my teachers are mum and dad.
They teach me English and maths which is really bad.
I'm not even allowed to play games on my I-pad.
I prefer Mrs Charlton as my parents are driving me mad!
The weather outside is delightful
The sun has finally come
It's time to get up and go out there
It's time to have some fun
We are no longer in class,
sometimes I feel unsure.
I am having fun learning still.
It is good at home playing with my toys.
I do miss my class friends though,
so hopefully staying home helps to cure corona.
Topic - Find out about Greek Gods and Goddesses. This link will help you https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/z87tn39/articles/zgt7mp3
Write a few sentence about your favourite Greek God and Goddess. Explain why you have chosen it.

Home school is fun
I am making cakes and buns
After 8x4 we play some more
The challenge is on to stay switched on.
When Corona has passed we will back in our class.

It is fun to do our work at home,
But sometimes I miss my friends and feel alone,
It's good to play outside and have fun with my brother,
So we must stay at home and look after each other.

Lockdown
Mum’s getting bossy,
I don’t know what to do.
I have lots and lots of jobs,
And all my schoolwork too.
I only see people in my household,
Which is really sad to me.
I miss all my friends and family,
Who I’m not allowed to see.
I know that it’s for our own safety,
But not everyone understands.
I can’t wait to see you all in the future,
Hopefully before I have wrinkly hands.
