Morning everyone!
Happy April Fool's Day! I hope you didn't get caught out....!
I know most of you love animals, so how about completing this English activity:
These two superheroes had had a lifetime of saving lives. Day after day, they had battled the streets fighting crime and protecting innocent people from the clutches of evil
Now, their lives were slightly less busy, as they left saving the world to younger superheroes. However, they still had the energy for one last mission. The phone began to ring...
Challenge: can you continue the story?
Question time!
What time of day is it in the picture?
Why is only one tiger drinking from the pool?
Do the tigers know each other?
Why are they ‘on the prowl’ together?
What does the word ‘prowl’ mean? What does it suggest the tigers are doing?
Where will they go once they have finished drinking?
Where in the world would you find tigers? What is their natural habitat?
How do you feel about the fact that some tigers live in captivity?
For maths, have a go at one the activities in your booklets. I have also set you some Mathletics for you to have a go at if you haven't already completed it.
We are currently beating Mrs Davies' class (Year 6) on Times Table Rockstars by 100 points - it's close so keep going. Well done to Maisie, Felix and Rebecca - you're my stop 3 rockstar superstars at the moment!
I went for a long walk yesterday evening, and it made me feel so good! Make sure you're getting outside at some point as it's good for your mental health, body, fitness and generally keeping yourself upbeat.
Why not try a mindfulness activity?
If you have some paint, you could decorate a pebble or a stone like the ones shown below.
If you don't have these resources, don't worry, why not design your own on the paper that was in your yellow packs?
I'd LOVE to see some!
Missing you all.
Miss Harmar :-)
