Super Scientists!
We have a class of super scientists! Wow - what a whirring, twirling, sliding, gliding week it has been investigating air resistance and friction. There have been many investigations carried out across the local area, with paper helicopters twirling and whirling from first floor windows and parachutes with different toys and objects attached from them swooping and swaying down from various heights. We looked at trying to make the tests fair and the effect changing variables has on them – we saw many different results due to this. Well done Year 6, it certainly was a week of discovering and scientific explanation. Please see some of the work carried out below.
