Week beginning 1st June
Welcome back everyone! I hope that you had a wonderful half term break and had lots of fun with the people you live with. The weather certainly did help us enjoy everything in the great outdoors.
We are going to carry on our project work this half term alongside other work such as; Mathletics and Reading Eggs, in addition our battles on TTRS – let’s see if our class can be the victors this half term!
We had some fantastic work created on our last science investigation project. I am really looking forward to seeing what you will produce on this task, especially with it being something that is your own passion!
Week 6 Project – The Dream Team.
Project 6 duration – 1 Week (hand in date Friday 5th June 3.00pm).
For this project, you will have two core tasks and then there are two other activities with which I would like you to choose one further activity. I am really excited to see the work that you produce for this task, you will be researching and writing about something that you love – I think I will be learning from you on this project with it being your area of expertise. I love learning new things – you are never too old to learn!
Project Overview
You will all have a passion for something – this could be anything from drawing, dancing, fly-fishing, gardening, animals to car designs. You have been given the opportunity of creating a Dream Team and meeting the people from this team to collaborate to create a one off piece of work/event. This could be designing the garden of your dreams, working as a team to put together the best car ever designed, put on an opera in a leading theatre, complete alongside athletes in the world’s greatest championships, create a piece of art to be exhibited in several key destinations around the world, to work with the world’s leading scientists to create the next cure for a disease, or take part in an expedition to find a new undiscovered and uninhabited island - the possibilities are endless.
Go to our class Microsoft Teams page and click on the ‘Files’ tab to find the full project on ‘Week 6 - The Dream Team’, to discover what you are going to do with your Dream Team. The core task and suggested activities have been set for you to upload your work on to ‘Assignments’ when you have finished. Please also share your work on our Teams page so we can learn from and inspire each other. I cannot wait to see what wonderful work you create this week!
