Staggered Start to School in September
Dear Parents
Your child will start school on Tuesday 8th September 2020. To begin with there will be a staggered start during the first week building up to a full day by Friday. The children are initially split into 2 groups so that they can get used to their new surroundings and become familiar with the new routines within smaller groups. Mrs Barker and Miss Charlton will meet you at the school gates at the start of the school day for drop off and at the end of the school day for pick up.
PLEASE NOTE:
Please ensure that you adhere to social distancing rules when dropping off and picking up your child.
Unfortunately due to the current Coronavirus Pandemic parents will not be allowed to enter school premises and you are asked to drop your child off at the school gates.
I am aware that starting school can be an unsettling time for both little ones and for parents, particularly when it comes to separating for the first few times. May I suggest that you have a go at practicing saying goodbye and having special cuddles so that coming into school independently is made as smooth as possible.
Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
Mrs Barker Miss Charlton
