As you know, our information management system has been changed from SIMS to Bromcom. The next part of the system to implement will be the launch of the My Child At School (MCAS) app.
A MCAS account will soon be created for you and this will provide you with secure online access to view your child's information, including attendance, and enable you to pay for dinner money/school trips etc (please note that ParentPay will not be used after 22nd October and so all debts need to be paid by this time. If you are in credit, your funds will be transferred across to Bromcom).
MCAS is specifically designed to improve the quality and accessibility of information for parents and is accessible 24 hours a day via PC, laptop and mobile devices with an internet connection. It will give you live information and enable us to send secure messages to your device via email or app notifications. It will also enable you to amend your contact details online, rather than you having to contact the office during working hours.
MCAS accounts are currently being created for each contact that has Parental Responsibility. It is really important that you provide us with a current email address, as log in details will be registered to this. If you would like any other contacts to have access to the app for your child, please let us know by emailing office@roseberryacademy.org
Our plan is to have the MCAS app in operation from 1st November and so you may wish to use Google Play or AppStore to download the MCAS App now, in readiness to receive your log in details. As soon as we activate the app for our school, you will receive a letter with your username and invitation code. All you’ll need to do is redeem your invitation code, set your password, input the school code (which you will receive with your details) and log into your account! Please don’t worry - there is a parents’ guide to help you.
