The children have worked so hard this week. Not only did they impress our visitors on Monday with their super learning and fabulous attitudes, but they have impressed me with their determination and reliance whilst completing some assessments. Well done, everyone for trying so hard and not giving up!
We’ve had lots of fun learning about the Stone age monument of Stonehenge. The children couldn’t believe the size of the stones and were amazed to learn that the stones were moved from many miles away. We still couldn’t decide how the stone age people made such a fantastic monument!
The children enjoyed making their own Stonehenge using biscuits, Lego, and dominoes. We used a light source to show how the sun make shadows and how they would use the sun to track the time and seasons.
