• The children found out all about Sikh beliefs and created amazing fact pages about the five articles of faith.
  • Next, they looked at the Ik Onkar symbol, which means 'One with everything', and using marbling ink and paint made beautiful artwork.
  • They also made impressions into clay to make pendants including the Khanda symbol.
  • We shared the story of Guru Nanak and the Boulder and the children created amazing exploding books to help re-tell the story.
  • Then they listened to the story of The Khalsa and retold the story by cutting out figures for shadow puppetry and then recording the story using Chatterpix.
  • Finally, the children enjoyed decorating biscuits with the Khanda symbol on it.

What an amazing week of work!
