Wow, what another busy week Year 2 have had!  The children have been learning about position and direction in maths and have been following instructions to move forwards, backwards, left and right.  We worked on the playground using the giant grid to help us think about how we could move to different places.

In topic this week, the children have been thinking about what makes a boat float.  We predicted and tested this idea using plasticine and made different shapes to see what would happen in the water.  We also made origami paper boats and shared some more incredible home learning projects, which was super to see!

Towards the end of the week, we managed to find enough time to make a start on our lighthouses.  We just need to add our twinkly lights to make them shine brightly!  Well done children, a super week of learning.
