Well done Year 6! I have been really impressed with how quickly you have settled into new routines and worked your socks off!
In English, we have started to read 'The Elephant in the Garden' and the children have written character descriptions about the main character.
In Maths, we have been looking at place value.
For topic - A Child's War' - we have been creating amazing timelines. We also looked at a map of areas in the UK which were heavily bombed and thought about why these areas were targeted. We discussed factories, industrial areas and ports and where it would be safe for children to be evacuated to.
Phew, what a week!
