Making predictions!

Today we started our new book, ‘Beegu’. The children enjoyed looking closely at the picture on the title page. They worked collaboratively to discuss what things they could see, guess why the character would be there and where he might have come from.

We made simple predictions thinking about what might happen next in the story.

Here are some of our predictions:

‘I think that Beegu will find some new friends.’

‘I think he will need to buy a new spaceship because his has crashed.’

‘I think he will be injured and might need a hospital.’

We are looking forward to reading the ‘Beegu’ story and finding out about his adventures.
