Well, the children will certainly sleep well tonight (we hope). They have had a superb day beck scrambling; working their down West Beck near Goathland, through small holes, down slides and off ‘looney leaps’ into pools. Suitably wet, cold, exhausted and having thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon, the children returned to the centre to shower (well, some of them) and change into dry clothes ready for dinner. Following dinner, the children took turns leading a partner round the nightline while blindfolded and kitted out with a helmet – check out the photos below.
Rest assured parents, the children are thoroughly enjoying themselves and the teamwork and the bravery I have seen today has been truly inspiring.
