This week in Literacy, we’ve been learning how to use inverted commas accurately. We first up-leveled part of our class text, ‘The Lion and the Unicorn’ by using synonyms for said and interesting adverbs, and then progressed onto using story cards to practise using speech marks correctly. We used the working wall, our learning partners and the help key rings to make our writing successful.
In Maths, we’ve been learning Roman numerals to 100 and 1000. Mrs Watson called out various numbers, and we collaborated with our partners to make the numeral out of wooden sticks.
