Today, we took maths outdoors whilst learning how to use a number line. The children had to draw their own number line using chalk, making sure all the numbers were in the correct order and formed correctly. Once our number lines were complete, we used them to count forwards and backwards.
The children are getting very confident at finding the number to start on, ensuring they remember not to count the number they are standing on and remembering how many jumps they have to do!
