What a super morning we have had today. We were all super sensible when we walked down to the village Post Office.
We looked after all our grown ups along the way.
When we got to the Post Office we asked the lady behind the desk if we could please buy a first class stamp.
We gave the lady the money to pay for it.
We put the stamps onto our envelopes and put them in the Post Office.
Back at school we talked about how the Postman will empty the Post box and send all the mail to the sorting office. This is where all the mail gets sorted out and given to the right Postman ready to be delivered.
The mail then gets put into the Postman’s bag and delivered to our houses.
We are very excited about receiving our mail back very soon.
