Wow, what a busy week! As part of SAW (science, art, writing) week, we concentrated our work on wheat. We began the week creating our own poems about wheat. We then found out about the ‘Grain Chain’ and worked together to produce collages depicting each stage. In addition, we made soda bread which was delicious! We then studied one of Van Gogh’s masterpieces and recreated it using acrylic paint. Finally we found out about the wheat kernel and labelled it and added fascinating facts.
