Super Schools!

On Thursday, we walked round our village finding out about Great Ayton schools.  We found the site of the old Edward Kitching School, then we walked down to Marwood and found out a little bit about its history – a big thank you to Ian Pearce and the Great Ayton History Society.  After that, we walked along to the Postgate School and we were lucky enough to have a quick look in.  We also found out about the British School and finally, the Friends’ School.  We then made our way back to our amazing school, Roseberry Academy!  What a lot of schools and what a lot of history!
