We’ve started our new class text ‘Arthur and the Golden Rope’, which ties in so well with our topic, ‘Gods and Mortals’. We have: predicted what we think the text is going to be about; responded to illustrations used in the book by using expanded noun phrases; written a small poem and made inferences about a character.
Having only read the first few pages, we are eager to find out what happens next....
