This week we are looking at health/fitness and wellbeing on our project. Whilst it is important to have a healthy body, it is also very important to have a healthy mind. I want us to think of something called ‘Simple Pleasures’. This is where you can get some feelings of happiness from things that are around you - these are things that don’t cost anything at all and that you haven’t bought! Simple pleasures can be found all around us and make us smile or give us feelings of happiness, peace or some belonging to the environment around us. Things such as blossom blowing from a tree like confetti, spring lambs hopping and skipping in a field, the sound of an owl, baby ducklings waddling along following their mum, tadpoles swimming and darting around in a pool, the change in colour of the fields and woodland near Roseberry Topping and the grass and crops grows and ferns popping up, the stars twinkling in a clear nights sky or a beautiful rainbow shining above you. I would like you to have a look this week and see if you can see or hear anything that gives you a feeling of happiness and share them with us on our class Teams page. This could be describing what you saw or taking a picture of it and posting that. Simple pleasures are unique to you – there are no wrong answers. I look forward to seeing what simple pleasures you have seen or heard this week.
