What a lovely start to our new topic all about Emotions and Feelings.
Today we have been talking about things that make us feel happy, sad, angry, scared and worried.
We pulled lots of different faces and tried to guess how everyone was feeling by looking at their faces.
In the Design Area we had a go at making our own Emotions Portraits using lots of different materials and cutting out real facial features. We noticed that when you turn a smile upside down it made the face look sad and sometimes angry.

We have also had some lovely work sent in via Teams for this new topic. Fabulous love heart missing numbers, matching words to the correct faces and super maths work using happy and sad faces instead of ticks and crosses. Well Done everyone!!
