This week we have been finding out what homes in the 1940s would have been like. The children discussed similarities and differences and a lot of them liked the idea of everyone sitting in the living room together, listening to the wireless.
We also talked about rationing and why it was so important. We looked at some wartime recipes and made some oaty biscuits. They were a bit dry but quite tasty!
