What an amazing first week back; the children have worked their socks off!
They began by looking at graphic organisers to help them find out about the heart and the circulatory system. Using these, they created some beautiful work and could recall some amazing facts.
The children then had the opportunity handle a pig’s heart. They were absolutely fascinated, and everyone wanted to touch it to see what it felt like. When we dissected it, they were amazed at what it looked like inside. Because they had already found out about the heart, they could identify all the features. Amazing!
