We have had so much fun in year 1 this week but we have done so much learning too! In maths this week we have been learning all about the takeaway symbol and they have been brilliant at using it! In literacy we all pretended to be astronauts on the moon and used drama to help us with our writing! We thought about what it might feel like, what we would be able to see , hear and touch. In topic we have been learning all about Neil Armstrong. If you ask the children some facts about him, I'm sure they will be able to tell you! We have also been learning about the timeline of space and how day becomes night! We have worked so hard this week! Enjoy your weekend year 1! You have definitely earned it !
