Key Workers

The government recognises that some of your roles will be crucial in enabling the country to continue to function safely and effectively. The Enquire Learning Trust’s position in relation to key worker places is that they encourage children to attend full time to ensure consistency for both the child and the academy. However the Trust understands that some parents may wish to not take up this offer. Where this is preferred we would ask that you confirm with the school office which days you will be sending your child into school so that appropriate staffing may be arranged.

The Trust requests that you provide proof of employment in advance of your child attending school.

Please be aware that we may need to check the provenance of this information. A list of those occupations considered to be critical can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-maintaining-educational-provision/guidance-for-schools-colleges-and-local-authorities-on-maintaining-educational-provision

Please note that, wherever possible, pupils should remain at home. It is essential that we minimise contact over the coming weeks to give the country a better chance of controlling the virus.

Thank you for your support.
