Our topic this half term is 'Allotment'. We used maps to locate our local allotment and some children were lucky enough to visit their own family allotments and take photos. In school, we visited our vegetable garden and discussed what we can do to bring it back to life!
We then thought about vegetables which are grown locally and in season and we created and made healthy vegetable soup - most children thought it was delicious - a few needed some persuading!
To finish off our busy week, we used our art skills to produce observational drawings of fruit or vegetables - as you can see, the results were amazing.
