It is so sad that we couldn't spend our last week of school all together but I am so proud that my class continued to learn at home.

We have been taking a trip down Reception Memory Lane, recreating and talking about some of our favourite activities that we enjoyed during our time in Reception.

We really loved exploring and learning about Nocturnal animals.  Here are some of our favourites!!

Nocturnal Animal Facts

Some of us created bar charts to show our favourite ones.  We really enjoyed learning how to do this in Maths.

On the run up to Christmas we really enjoyed retelling the Nativity story.

We loved learning about Healthy and Unhealthy foods.

One of our favourite things to do was making pictures using natural and found objects.  Here are some more fabulous ones created with things found in our gardens.

Leaf Art

I love to see children enjoying their reading.  What better way to spend time in a nice shady spot in the garden.

Reading at Home and Reading Eggs

We have also been thinking about the things that we will miss and the things we are looking forward to.

Things I will miss and things I am looking forward to

Our final activity was to think about things that we couldn't do before but we can do now.
