The children arrived at nursery with a large plant in the middle of carpet, ready for our time to talk session. The children felt, smelt, and talked about the plant. We wondered if anything would grow on it. We found out it was a cheese plant, and this was because of the holes in its leaves. We spoke about what plants needs to grow and how we will look after it in nursery.
We thought of names for our new plant that began with a ‘C’. A very clever poppet thought of Channing, just like our head teacher!
