All About Frogs

We love having our very own Fred the Frog who helps us with our learning.

After Fred helped us to explore potatoes, we really wanted to learn more about Frogs.

We found out that frogs don't start their lives looking like frogs but small black jelly dots instead.  We talked about the changes the small black jelly dots go through before turning into a frog.  We learned some new words such as frogspawn, tadpole and froglet.

Using the different resources on the black tray, we enjoyed creating different places for the frogs to live, exploring the information books, ordering the numbered Lilly pads and counting out the correct number of water droplets.
