This week to celebrate harvest we made vegetable soup. We came into nursery with a mystery bag left on our carpet. We took it in turns to reach in and pick out an object. It was lots of vegetables! We discovered some vegetables that we had not seen before.
Afterwards, we peeled and cut all of them up ready for our soup, we had a feel and smell of each piece and we counted as we cut. We put it into a soup maker and turned it on.
Our next job was to set the table for 7 people. Our soup was delicious, we enjoyed dipping in a piece of bread.
