The aliens have arrived

Wow, the children have been so excited this week because a rocket has crash landed in our class. However, we can't find the alien who flew it but we have lots of clues. He/she has green hands and six fingers!!! We have been learning all about the planets and our solar system and we are going to try and find out if our alien came from one of them. Keep a look out for strange things happening!!

The children have worked so hard in maths this week with number bonds and it is lovely to see some work coming from home. Well done year 1. They are excited to join the rock star competition on line to try and be the best school in our area. Please encourage them to go on. They have an hour to get as many points as they can.

We are beginning our new topic in English and learning lots of new words such as navigation, descended and divert.
