Today we had our first 'Welly Wednesday'. We had a fantastic afternoon exploring the school’s beautiful ground. Here are the things we noticed in our environment:
- Different trees, some had leaves and some were bare
- The sound of leaves crunching underneath our feet
- The squelchy mud
- The sound of birds
- The sound of an aeroplane in the sky
- Mole hills
- Fallen apples
- Leaves with holes (we thought it might have been a caterpillar)
- A small hut (we thought the big bad wolf may live here)
We had a competition of who can find the longest stick, Woody won!
After lots of exploring and talking about what we can see, hear and feel, we sat down and drew what we could see!
