Wow, I can't quite believe how much we have fit into the first week back! We've been non-stop in Year 2, I really don't know where you've found the energy. On Tuesday, the children took part racing against each other in Great Ayton's annual pancake race event. On Thursday, the children came to school dressed in PJs or costumes to celebrate 'World Book Day'. They all looked fantastic and thoroughly enjoyed sharing their favourite stories, 'dropping everything to read' and making their own story books. The best bit was sharing their books with their friends! To end the week off, the children shared some giggles playing party games. Well done everyone, it's just as well it's the weekend as we all need a rest!
