To kickstart our new topic ‘Sow, Grow and Farm’, the children went into our allotment area with Miss Tucker to carry out a range of activities including allotment maintenance, planting seeds and learning all about the different things you can grow yourself. They had a brilliant time.
The children have also been learning about different life cycles of animals that they may find in an allotment, garden or farm.
On Thursday, we celebrated World Book Day where the children came in dressed in their pyjamas or favourite book character. They enjoyed stopping and reading a book throughout the day.
