Year 1 have been learning all about the ocean forest and how environmental factors have had a negative impact upon them. After watching a short film, ‘A Whale’s Tale’, we decided to raise awareness of the dangers plastics and other forms of pollution have on this incredible, yet delicate environment and its stunning creatures.
To highlight the impact of these pollutants, we have created a class collage of the ocean and different varieties of fish, including the waste materials, which damage their habitat. This was all made out of recycled/discarded products , such as: CDs, plastic bags, plastic bottles, bottle tops, newspaper and magazines.
