The children made Native American traditional frybread today.  They enjoyed it so much, many of them copied down the recipe so they could try it at home!

The children had a great time today creating Native American headdresses.  They look amazing!

We have been finding out all about the artist, L.S. Lowry.  We were so inspired by his work that we created our own artwork, showing the industrial factories, terraced houses, and match stick people that Lowry enjoyed drawing and painting.

After we received our letter from the Cornerstones Mayor, asking us for help, we developed plans for some new features in the area that would ensure there were plenty of places for families and children to enjoy.

We have started our Culture Week looking at Native America. The children researched where different tribes live, the types of clothing that they wear and the different traditions that they have. The children worked really hard to produce some amazing work.
