Week 12 - Land Art Project
Week 12 Project – Land Art
Project 12 duration – 1 Week (hand in date - Friday 17th July 3.00pm).
This is our last project for the term, you have produced some amazing work in your projects, with which you should feel very proud of yourselves. For this project, you will have three tasks out of a selection of activities to complete; you can choose any of the three. This week’s project is based around art, literacy and science.
Project Overview
This week we are going to look at different forms of land art. All types of land art appear outside. Some forms of land art are specifically designed and made for a purpose, such as a sculpture. They are made in another location and then moved to their permanent ‘home’. The more traditional forms of land art are presented by creating pieces of art, using natural materials, built and then placed in an outside setting. We will also be looking at street art; this is pieces of art that are created in a public space, usually without permission.
Go to our class Teams page and click on the ‘Files’ tab to find the full project on ‘Week 12 – Land Art’. The tasks have been set for you to upload your work on to ‘Assignments’ when you have finished. Please also share your creations on our Teams page so we can see your fabulous artwork.
