At the beginning of the week, we learned all about CPR and how to use a defibrillator. Thank you to the amazing grown-ups who showed us what to do – we had such a great time!
In Science, we’ve been collaborating which our peers to construct a variety of food chains, identifying producers, predators and prey.
As part of our topic, ‘Home front Heroes’, we’ve been learning about rationing during the war. We wrote a report about which foods were rationed and why.
We then looked at propaganda, and discussed about why and where this was used. We used watercolours to design and make our own posters.
At the end of the week, we were very lucky, and had a visit from an Indian dance company. We found out how to say ‘Hello’ in punjabi, ‘Sat Sri Akaal’, and learned some great Indian dance moves.
