In Literacy this week, we’ve been using our predicting and inferring skills to think about what might happen next in our new class text, ‘I was a Rat!’, by Philip Pullman. We are really eager to find out what happens next!
In Maths, we’ve been working slightly differently; we are learning to challenge ourselves (with guidance) by selecting from specific numbered tasks – challenge 1, 2, 3 or the chilli challenge. I’ve been really impressed with how the children have adapted so quickly, their perseverance skills and confidence has definitely developed.
In Topic, we have been finding out about Anderson shelters and reading real-life recounts of life during air-raids. Some of the stories are amazing.
