Today we thought about why we wear our poppies. We discussed how the poppies are an important reminder and a thank you to all the young men and women who have served and are still serving in our armed forces.
The children have been really thoughtful and expressed their gratitude by buying their poppies all week, however today we made our own poppies which we’ll wear during our remembrance assembly.
We’ll take part in a two minute silence to remember and give thanks to all of the brave soldiers who lost their lives in battle.
We will remember them!
