On the 1st December, a tiny door appeared in Year 2 and ever since, we’ve received little notes from Brian, the elf! He even left us some magical seeds to plant in sugar, and we were amazed when they grew into lovely lollipops!
Everyone worked extremely hard to perform in our Nativity story, ‘A King is Born’. Well done everybody, you made all of the grown ups very proud!
On Thursday, we helped to raise lots of money for POSCH charity by wearing our fabulous Christmas jumpers! We also enjoyed a scrumptious Christmas school lunch, thanks to everyone who works incredibly hard in our kitchen!
At our Christmas party, we played games, danced, enjoyed some delicious party food, and even had a surprise visit from Santa, who brought us all a gift to open on Christmas Day!
It isn’t Christmas without a bit of glitter! We put our creative skills to the test to make cards, calendars and tree decorations.
We even had time to investigate friction, and tested different surfaces to see which one Santa could travel on the fastest!
Finally, we all attended a lovely carol service at Christ Church this morning. A huge thank you to all of the grown ups who came along to help us on the busses, and in the church.
Phew, what an extremely busy time! Have a lovely holiday. And …relax!
