This afternoon, the children were treated to an enthralling talk given by Mr Juckes, based on his experiences living in Antractica from 1964 – 66! The whole of Y5/6 fell silent and were utterly mesmerised by his stories, photos and explanations of what life was like for him there. We were so lucky to hear, first hand, of this special experience.
