In maths we had lots of fun using the scales to explore the different weights of objects.

We looked at the objects and made a prediction, deciding which would be the heaviest and which would be the lightest object. Some of us thought the cup would be the heaviest and the toy car would be the lightest.

Next, using non-standard units, we measured the weight of each object. The chocolate bar weighed 6 cubes and the book weighed the same as 11 cubes.

I wonder which would be the heaviest a car or an elephant?
