What a fantastic day we have all had at the Dorman Museum in Middlesbrough. The children took part in a workshop, which was tailor made for our topic: Gallery Rebels. Here, the children were given a sketchbook (which they are allowed to keep) and were given time to sketch some of the fantastic patterened pottery from their Christopher Dresser display. We were also able to make and print our own repeating patterns - see these in the photos below. After lunch, the children had some time to wander through the museum looking at the the stunning displays and artifacts that the Dorman has to offer.

I also want to say a massive thank you to all the adults who helped out on the trip and a big thank you to Sue who organised our day at the museum.
